2013 Campaign
The United Way of Armstrong County is reaching out to you as we strive to reach our 2013 campaign goal of $150,000. In these tough economic times, the need has never been greater. You can help us with Corporate Donations, payroll deductions and one time donations. Through the generosity of our loyal contributors we are able to fund programs for the community that focus on income, education and health.
We have selected 10 agencies in the county to receive funding for the next year. Through careful examination we selected eight agencies from past years; Arc Manor, Community Action Mentoring Program, Life Choices, Lifesteps, Mechling-Shakley Veterans Center, Richard G. Snyder YMCA, Salvation Army and the Salvation Army Service Unit. We have selected two new agencies for this year’s allocation funding, Orphans of the Storm and the Crooked Creek Environmental Learning Center, a program of the Armstrong Education Trust.
